Hill Country of Judea - the home of Zacharias and Elizabeth - hilly land south of Jerusalem. We do not know the exact location. Some place it close to Jerusalem (pictured below on the right). Some place it between Bethlehem and Hebron (pictured below on the left). In any event, you can picture the hilly terrain that Mary traveled through to visit Elizabeth.
